NANCY B. FINN is a writer and consultant focused on the impact of communication technology on organizational behavior, with a particular interest in healthcare. For several years she held senior corporate marketing/marketing communication positions in high tech, publishing and financial services, where she managed teams that developed media campaigns, product collateral and online communication applications including web portals and e-commerce sites.

She designed and taught communication and new media courses at universities in Greater Boston including: Boston University, Bentley College, Suffolk University and Leslie University.

In addition to Digital Communication in Medical Practice, Ms. Finn is the author of two books on business and digital communication: Writing Dynamics: a Guidebook to Communications in the Office of the 80s, published by the CBI Division of Van Nostrand Rheinhold, in 1981 and The Electronic Office, published by Prentice Hall in 1983. She also contributed a chapter: Finn NB. Communication: The Key to Good Medicine, Nash DB, Skouflas A, Hartman M, Horwitz H, eds. Practicing Medicine in the 21st Century. Ms. Finn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and a Master of Education from Boston University. She has been a speaker at many national forums on communication technology topics and writes a healthcare blog, Healthcare Basics.
